The newspaper “Patria Chica” was publied in 1915. Its editor and founder was the poet Mr. Carlos Valverde López, who is the great-grandfather of the present owners of this hotel. All the architectural elements have been recovered such as the marble and clay floor, hydraulic slab, wood panelling ceiling, wooden stairs, doors, windows, glass cabinet, set of shelves, ironworks, niches, brick walls or travertines, doors covered with lead, fountains, vaulted basement, etc. There is also a refined restoration of all household furniture in the house such as furnitures, tableware, paintings, countless decorative items, etc, made with rigour and gesture by specialised professionals of the town.


FACILITIES It provides warm and intimate spaces, where you can rest. Moreover, there is a mixture between the tecnology and a lifestyle in the early of the 20th century.. 



  • Salmorejo – a blend of fresh tomatoes, garlic and olive oil (AOVE) with quail egg and Iberian ham.
