Description

Overview

Las Paredejas is a natural spot surrounded by olive groves and mountains, with isolated buildings, located five kilometres from Priego de Córdoba, a town that has been considered one of the most beautiful in Spain. Known for its famous Fuente del Rey and as the birthplace of Don Niceto Alcalá Zamora, whose house-museum is a must-see, Priego is a monumental town with a medieval castle, Baroque churches and stately homes. The imposing viewpoint of the Balcón del Adarve opens onto the Barrio de la Villa (the old quarter), ideal for a leisurely stroll through its tangle of streets lined with white houses, patios and flowers, which has served as the setting for so many series and films. Today, extra virgin olive oil with the Priego de Córdoba designation of origin and the local cuisine attract a growing number of visitors from Spain and abroad. The VTAR “Las Paredejas del Rey” offers, in this privileged setting between nature and history, fully equipped accommodation with room for eight people. Within the estate, which covers one hectare, the house has a spacious porch, a large kitchen and a living room with fireplace on the ground floor, as well as four bedrooms and two bathrooms on the upper floor and another one outside. Private swimming pool with an adjoining changing room. The landscaped surroundings of the house have a barbecue and shaded resting areas. The location of the house makes it easy to stay in Priego de Córdoba as well as to go hiking or take excursions to nearby towns such as Almedinilla, a few minutes away, with its Roman villa; or Zuheros, with its cave paintings; Zagrilla and its tourist village, or Cabra and Lucena.
