Casa Cactus is a cosy 3 bedroom house for 4 people, in a quiet area, up a small hill with parking at the bottom, in the lovely village of Castil de Campos. The historic town of Priego de Cordoba is a little over 7km away with all amenities. Within the village of Castil there are 3 bars, 3 shops, pharmacy, doctors, tobacco/mobile topup, town hall, village hall, children’s playground, padel courts and a soon to be open (2026) swimming pool. It also hosts its fare share of fiestas throughout the year. The house itself is situated near the ruta sendro which goes up to the Ermita y Mirador, as well as other walks through the olive groves.
The property is over 3 floors and consists of living room, full bathroom and kitchen on the ground floor. Two single bedrooms and toilet on the first floor, and a double bedroom on the second floor leading out to the roof terrace which has beautiful views over the surrounding countryside and olive groves.
The kitchen is fully equipped, washing machine is on the top terrace, iron and ironing board and hairdryer are also available. Plus WIFI. There are also a few English books available to read.
The surrounding towns of Iznajar, Rute, Granada and Córdoba are a little over an hour away. There are also plenty of other smaller villages which are well worth visiting.
After a busy day, relax on the upstairs terrace with a drink and a good book, or try one of the local bars for a drink and a meal.
