Our accommodation is in the heart of the Sierras Subbéticas Cordobesas Natural Park, in an idyllic setting at the foot of a mountain range of Mediterranean woodland, surrounded by centuries-old holm oaks and with incredible views of Pico Bermejo and La Tiñosa, the highest points in the province of Córdoba. In short, an ideal place for hiking, cycling or simply resting, where at night you can hear an eagle owl, a fox, and even squirrels… We have restored an old cortijo (traditional Andalusian farmhouse), trying to respect as far as possible the essence of a country house, but with the comforts demanded today. There is air conditioning in the 4 bedrooms on the first floor and in the living-dining room, 100 mgb Starlink Wi-Fi throughout the property, a 55-inch smart TV, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, oven, microwave, etc. On the ground floor there are a living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom with a 1.35 x 1.90 m bed, and on the first floor, 2 double bedrooms, a triple bedroom and a quadruple bedroom. Outside there is a 9×8 metre swimming pool with night lighting, a barbecue area, an outdoor bathroom with shower and several recreation areas, such as an area with a rustic outdoor kitchen and DJ zone, Colombian hammocks and 8 sun loungers for sunbathing from April to October, as well as another bathroom with a washing machine. We have a 30×15 m dirt sports court with two five-a-side football goals, where we will shortly install a small badminton/volleyball court and a basketball hoop. In addition, 25 metres away we have a building which, on its top floor, with access from the street, has a large 150 m2 hall that can be used for celebrations or simply as an extension to the house. There is a large country-style fireplace in the middle of the hall, a smart TV, bottle racks, a gas cooker with a 1-metre-wide oven, a video projector and screen, board games, armchairs and sofas for 15 people, as well as a spacious fireplace. On its ground floor, it has 12 stables for horse lovers, a drinking trough and a cleaning area. Building not included in the booking price. The property covers 21,000 m2 so that you can explore every corner of the incredible Mediterranean woodland that surrounds it.
