Stay and accommodation
VTAR Casa de la Costurera
Description
Overview
Located on Calle Jazmines in the Barrio de La Villa. A labyrinth of narrow streets, patios and whitewashed façades, flowerpots and geraniums that hide corners full of history, art and traditions, where time seems to have stood still. In the very heart of La Villa, just 100m from the church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción and 200m from the Castle and the Balcón del Adarve, you will find Casa de La Costurera. A cosy, charming house. It recreates the house-workshop of a seamstress, with its sample books of fabrics, threads, buttons and haberdashery, its workshop and its fitting room, where sewing machines, mannequins and hangers form part of the décor (evoking the textile and clothing-making tradition of Priego de Córdoba).
