In addition, the nearby Iznajar Reservoir offers the chance to take part in water activities and enjoy its natural beauty. La Cordobesa lies between the towns of Carcabuey and Priego de Córdoba, famous for their designation-of-origin oil, and only a few kilometres from both. In Carcabuey you can visit its castle, the Caliphal bridge and the routes of the five fountains, and enjoy its popular festivals such as the Pascua de los Moraos and the traditional matanza (pig slaughter). In Priego de Córdoba, meanwhile, you can stroll along the Paseo de las Rosas, admire the Fuente del Rey and lose yourselves in the flower-filled little streets of the adarves. But that is not all: just an hour away you can visit the beautiful city of Córdoba, with its famous Mosque, the orange-tree patios, the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos and the ruins of Medina Azahara. An hour away you will also find Granada, with the impressive Alhambra, the Albaicín and the Sacromonte. And if you fancy a day at the beach, Málaga is only an hour and ten minutes away, with its lovely beaches, chiringuitos and the famous Calle Larios. The house of La Cordobesa has all the comforts needed to enjoy your stay in the countryside, with an area of 200 square metres spread over two floors, five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a kitchen open to the spacious living room with fireplace, and a terrace in which to enjoy the Andalusian sun. Outside there is private parking, a barbecue area with a wooden pergola, a swimming pool and a garden in which to relax and enjoy the rural surroundings. The house can accommodate up to thirteen people, plus two supplementary places, and has a cot, a bathroom in each room, a shared bathroom, kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, living room with television, Wi-Fi, games and fireplace.
